The Taiwanese edition came with an obi, a registration card, and a sticker on the back which claims it is licensed by Capcom. There are two variants, the one shown on this page has Japanese title on the obi, while the other has Chinese title on the obi. The discs are also different.
Son May released several pirated soundtracks, but when Taiwan joined the WTO in late 2001, Taiwanese companies had to respect international copyright law. Suleputer licensed this album to Son May shortly thereafter. This was one of only two officially licensed soundtracks Son May released. The other is not related to the Biohazard series.
The mould code IFPI 5D** suggests the CD was manufactured in Ireland by MPO. This is clearly not true. While there is always the possiility that the soundtrack was pressed illegimately with a fake IFPI code, I find it more likely that it was pressed using equipment purchased from MPO Ireland before new IFPI codes could be fitted to the moulds. The laser beam recorder IFPI code, IFPI LB76, belongs to a Taiwanese plant which seems to manufacture only official products, for example they pressed a Capcom Tokyo Game Show promo DVD.
