Factory-pressed in-house reference disc/ distribution promo. The CD is just the standard retail pressing, except they didn't print on the disc, either to save money or time, or both. (Pressing and screen-printing is a two-part process.) This disc has one less ring around the spindle hole. This only depends on which mould pressed the disc. Two copies have been found. One came with the retail insert. It is quite unusual for in-house discs to come with proper inserts, so it may have been intended for promotion from the start, or it may have been an in-house disc later used for promotion, or even sold by mistake. The second came in a white die-cut sleeve (may have been added by the seller) and two sheets from the distributor, BMG Ariola. These suggest that it was used to gather advance orders from retailers, as the order number with the distributor, 24425 BMG ARIOLA, is written on one of them. (Regular printed discs have been found with the same sheet, perhaps they were used to gather advance orders from retailers too, or for regular promotion. If the latter, this disc may have been used for regular promotion, too.)
