The official Chinese editions of the game were released by Ubi Soft Shanghai. The Leon and Claire scenarios were released separately. Both were released in black cases with cover inserts. Cardboard slipcovers were not used yet. This was probably the first game in the series to be officially released in China.

This pressing of the Claire edition contains the game disc, a green disc with various Capcom games contents, a Claire manual, a green registration card, and a sheet with technical information.

The extra disc has Resident Evil 3 Nemesis and Dino Crisis contents.

Other pressings came with different extra discs and different registration cards.
