The second American budget edition can be identified by the placement of the Xbox Live logo on the front, and the text under the barcode stating "Assembled in USA". The first budget edition is almost identical, while the third has a new Platinum Hits logo on the front.

It came with an Xbox spine sticker and a sticker on the back stating that the disc was made in Mexico.
