The French release of Metal Gear Solid (SLES-01506 7020067/C) came with a Silent Hill demo and a French poster.

Other than the demo and the poster, the game came with two game discs, a manual, a Konami 1999 Software Collection catalog, and a French advertisement for Metal Gear Solid soundtrack and guide book.
