The European release of Metal Gear Solid (SLES-01370 7020067/A) was distributed in Portugal by Ecofilmes with an additional black and white manual and a sticker on the back. There should also have been an age rating sticker.

It came with a Silent Hill demo and a poster, a standard manual, a Portuguese manual, a Konami 1999 Software Collection catalog, and an advertisement for Metal Gear Solid soundtrack and guide book.
