France
SNA pressed the French Nirvana cardsleeve singles back in 1993 and 1994, and some promos and promo samplers in the 1990's. The matrix codes followed a simple pattern, the example below is of Heart-Shaped Box (GED 21856):
SNA GED 21856 08049301 SNA
The first six numbers, "080493", show which date the disc was mastered, in this case August 04, 1993. The last two numbers, "01", probably indicate the project number on this date. From some time in 1995 they also included IFPI codes.
Curiously, they made a few mistakes when it comes to application of their IFPI codes. The Polly promo (GEDP 022) from 1995 repeats the laser beam recorder (LBR) IFPI in the mould IFPI. They are both IFPI L600, as shown in image 1. Another mistake can be found on Rock Spirit (MCAF 0040), a French promo sampler from 1998. The mould IFPI repertoire is 1A, but the disc is missing the first number, and is only "IFPI A98", as shown in image 2.
Finally, there is a third, possible mistake. Some discs have the internal LBR numbers "LBR 01" or "LBR 02" in the matrix codes, but LBR IFPI codes in both cases are "IFPI L600". It seems that they, for some time, used the same code regardless of which LBR they used to master the discs.
