7" (black) / test pressing / Sub Pop / SP73 / made in USA (Erika) / 1990
The white label test pressings on black vinyl came in plain white inner sleeves. Six copies have been found. They came with blank labels from the plant, considering that all the surfaced copies have different text and handwriting.
Copy 1 pictured below was sold by Jon Poneman [1] and may have been labeled at Sub Pop. Copy has blank labels on both sides [2]. Copy 3 was labeled by the original recipient [3]. Copy 4 was given to the manager of The Rocket, and labeled by Poneman or Bruce Pavitt [4]. Copy 6 has a blank label on side A and incorrect handwritten titles on side B [5].
From the matrix codes we can see that the lacquers were cut by Carol Hibbs at K Disc Mastering, and metal parts were processed at Lee Plating.
